Learning to Cook
Learning to cook is an excellent way for teens to gain independence and develop new skills. Our Cooking Group provides a fun, structured environment where participants can explore new recipes, learn about nutrition, and build confidence in the kitchen.
Program Highlights
- Read and follow recipes confidently with step-by-step guidance.
- Explore new ingredients and dishes to expand food preferences.
- Develop knowledge of nutrition and calorie information for a healthier lifestyle.
- Build practical cooking skills while engaging with peers in a supportive setting.
Each week, participants will try a new recipe with options for substitutions based on individual needs and preferences.
Who Should Join?
This program is ideal for teens aged 12+ who are comfortable engaging in group activities, following multi-step instructions, and learning in a fun and encouraging environment. Participants should be able to attend and participate for at least 15 minutes, or request breaks as needed.

Our Employment Skills Program is designed to help teens and young adults build independence and confidence in preparing for the workforce. From creating a standout resume to mastering job interviews, this program offers essential tools for securing part-time or full-time employment.
