Our Story

Papillon Family Health was founded in 2009 by Behaviour Analyst Amanda Reali. Amanda was working in the field of Behavioural Science when she encountered twin boys that were diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She was inspired by this experience and discovered her calling for helping families dealing with ASD.

Through her experience working with ASD organizations and service providers, Amanda identified that many families could benefit from taking a more active role in their children’s therapy programs. She envisioned a new kind of center where families collaborated with specialists in order to feel heard and provide the expert experience each family has with their child’s unique needs.

Amanda’s combined expertise in Behavioural and Counselling Psychology inspired her to develop a more holistic approach to ASD Therapy at Papillon Family Health. Everyone involved with Papillon is dedicated to encouraging children to explore, ask questions and develop the confidence to be themselves.

Our Family Centred Methodology

Since 2009 our center has been a hub for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families to discover a network of support to empower them with the tools and help they need. We have built a comfortable and positive environment focused on developing and affirming children’s abilities and establishing pride for accomplishments. We believe in offering realistic environments where children can learn the skills they need to prepare for success in the future.

Every child is an individual with unique needs, so our flexible programming is designed to establish a personalized therapy plan to suit each child and their family. Our interdisciplinary treatment model ensures that from the initial assessment and throughout the learning journey, the family and specialists are working together with the child towards shared goals and objectives.

We believe in a family-centric approach to applying our services through building trust and communication. Papillon Family Health aims to work around the needs of your child and family life, helping to facilitate your child with their learning journey and every element of their life.

We offer a range of services including Behavioural Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Mental Health, and Respite Services. Our service offerings are always developing, so what we are not offering today, may be coming in the near future.
