Daphyma Sylvia Arokiya Raj is a dedicated and registered Speech-Language Pathologist with over 10 years of diverse clinical and academic experience in communication sciences and disorders. After completing a Bachelor of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP) degree in 2015, She began her career working as a Speech Language Pathologist for two years in a pediatric developmental center in India, helping children with a range of speech, language, and developmental needs while collaborating closely with families and multidisciplinary teams. Daphyma later completed a Master of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (MASLP) degree at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, India. Following this, She worked in a Medical College, Hospital and Research center as a Clinical Supervisor, mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students while delivering services across both speech diagnostics and therapy units in inpatient and outpatient settings. Over approximately 4years and 5months in this role, She developed extensive experience in comprehensive assessment, individualized treatment planning, management of complex communication disorders, clinical teaching, and interdisciplinary care.

Daphyma was also a member of The Autism Centre of Excellence at SRM Institute of Science and Technology for almost 2 years, closely collaborating with an interdisciplinary team aiming at providing comprehensive care for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. For the past two years, She has been practicing in Ontario, bringing a client-centered, evidence-based, and culturally responsive approach to therapy. Daphyma is a registered with CASLPO as a Speech-Language Pathologist since February 2025. Her range of experience across pediatric, adult, hospital, and community settings enables her to provide compassionate, personalized care focused on helping individuals and families achieve meaningful communication outcomes.
