Michelle is a dedicated and enthusiastic speech-language pathologist. She received her Honours Bachelor of Science degree from University of Toronto Scarborough, with a double major in Psychology and Linguistics. She later received her Master of Clinical Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Western University.

Experience And Specialities

Michelle has experience working with children of all ages in the areas of language, articulation, fluency, motor speech, literacy, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and social communication. She is trained in “It Takes Two to Talk” – The Hanen Program® for Parents of Children with Language Delays and in The Lidcombe Program – a behavioural treatment program for children who stutter.

Michelle uses an evidence-based approach when developing individual and unique therapy for each child. She is particularly passionate about working with children with autism and their families. Michelle applies a family-centred approach when providing therapy. She ensures to keep family members involved and provides them with techniques and resources to use outside of her therapy sessions.
